La Piastra was born five years ago as a part-time catering service when the owner, Lauren DeLisa, realized that she could turn a passion of cooking into a career. For the past two years, she has developed over 80 different entrees and sides and distributed her product under the La Piastra brand through a supermarket.
Her experience has proved invaluable as she now is able to deliver that same product to you at her retail outlet by the same name.

A NOTE FROM LAUREN...The aromas of my Nana's kitchen on a Sunday morning. Something I will never forget or duplicate exactly. When it came to making sauce, no one did it better. But if you wanted to learn how, you would have to make a good guess, because she never measured and would always leave a secret ingredient out! It's what motivates me to continue to create and develop recipes that will not forget when you walk into our store.
